Join an international outdoor business as Deputy Commercial Director.

The Nikwax Group operates within the expanding Outdoor market, providing a range of aftercare products for a variety of clothing, footwear and equipment. We require a Deputy Commercial Director to support our Commercial Director.

The Role

Improve Nikwax sales, profitability and brand awareness by assisting in defining the direction of the company, leading the team to the fulfilment of its goals, and continually developing and promoting key competitive advantages by:

  • working with the Commercial Director to propose the direction of the company, leading the team to the fulfilment of its goals, and continually developing and promoting key competitive advantages
  • facilitating the creation of sales, with marketing and development plans driven by defined goals and measurable effects.
  • ensuring the effective execution of sales, with marketing and development plans through effective team management.
  • driving top level projects that are happening in the company to completion, utilising Nikwax CRM system in compliance with company policy.
  • giving regular feedback and guidance to the people who report directly and ensuring that all employees get appropriate feedback on their roles and performance.
  • ensuring the profitability and sustainability of the company.

The Person will be

  • Passionate about consumer satisfaction.
  • Able to set clear goals and organise around those goals and prioritise.
  • Understanding of the key function of clear and consistent communication in the success of any enterprise.
  • Educated to a degree level or the equivalent, preferably in business or marketing.
  • Experienced in running a team.
  • Open to different cultural environment.

Join an international outdoor business as Benelux Office Coordinator

The Nikwax Group operates within the expanding Outdoor market, providing a range of aftercare products for a variety of clothing, footwear and equipment. We require a Dutch speaking Benelux Office Coordinator to support our very busy Head of Benelux Sales.

The Role

Manage the Benelux Sales Office to ensure Nikwax customers are fully supported, whilst also supporting the Head of Benelux Sales and marketing activities by:

  • being the point of contact for any Benelux Nikwax customers wanting to place new orders and ensuring that orders are placed in a timely fashion
  • processing Benelux Orders inclusive of order entry, order confirmation, raising credits and the coordination of backed orders, as well as answering queries from Nikwax consumers and customers
  • responding to any comments on Benelux Social Media Channels
  • assisting the Benelux Sales team and Benelux Head of sales with both marketing and training events
  • utilising Nikwax CRM system in compliance with company policy
  • engaging in communication with customers by phone, email and any other methods to promote Nikwax products.

The Person will be

  • proven in a sales or a marketing environment
  • organised with strong communicative and analytical skills
  • passionate about the environment and outdoor pursuits
  • collaborative yet comfortable working independently
  • educated in business administration.

Excellent Dutch and English language skills are essential, knowledge of French would be an advantage.

This role will be home based, in the UK, although it will require some visits to our Wadhurst offices. It may also require occasional trips to The Netherlands and Belgium.
