Join an international outdoor business in a rural environment as a Filling and Packing Assistant

Nikwax is a leading international manufacturer of waterproofing products for clothing, footwear and outdoor equipment and leads the field in outstanding environmental credentials and sustainability. Most recently, Nikwax received the Queen’s Award for Sustainable Development.

The Role

To improve the return on investment in the Nikwax filling and packing team by:

  • filling, labelling and packing our products
  • meeting the team’s busy production schedules and orders
  • being able to set up production equipment and machinery and reporting faults with machinery as they occur
  • keeping the working areas and equipment clean and tidy and adhering to safe working practises.

The Person

  • a friendly and helpful team player
  • conscientious, with an eye for detail
  • ideally having some basic IT skills
  • experienced in working in a production environment, however this is not essential.

Experience of working in a marketing team would be advantageous.

Join an international outdoor business in a rural environment as a Web Developer and Content Administrator

The Nikwax Group operates within the expanding Outdoor market, providing a range of aftercare products for a variety of clothing, footwear and equipment, as well as unique waterproof systems available through our premium outdoor clothing brand Páramo. We require a Web Developer and Content Administrator to join our busy Digital Marketing team in Wadhurst, East Sussex.

The Role

Update & maintenance of web content and design, build & maintenance of web applications, ensuring a fast and smooth user experience by writing well designed, reliable and efficient code in order to help maximise brand awareness, product understanding and sales by:

  • preparing, scheduling and sending email marketing campaigns in HTML
  • writing well designed, reliable and efficient code to allow fast and smooth user experience
  • ensuring code is consistent, tested and maintained to meet user and business needs
  • reviewing security measures to minimise the risk of breaches
  • implementing and maintaining 3rd party web services within company websites.

The Person will be

  • experienced in coding with HTML and CSS
  • knowledgeable of industry standard software packages
  • well-versed in email marketing tools such as Dotmailer/MailChimp etc.
  • experienced in web programming, with an excellent understanding of front-end platforms
  • numerate and educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) including Maths and English.

Due to our rural location you will need your own transport.
